Serving pints and banter for over 100 years...
Records of the "Green Bar" property go back as far as January 6th 1847. The building was sold to Bridget (aka Delia) Cahalan On February 16th 1918. Delia founded the Green Bar and it remained in her family tree for 101 years.
The pub was sold to the Bourke family of tower hill in December of 2019. On the 14th of March 2020 the pub closed due to Covid 19. While closed many of the old features of building were restored including, the old stone work, terrazzo floors, wood beams, and hearth.
